Proprietary Mode of Action
PlasmaShield® utilizes a multi-stage air decontamination module featuring the industry’s first Electron Beam irradiation as its core technology.
Within each reactor cell, a stable and uniform plasma field is generated to treat air as it passes through the chamber. This process ensures complete and irreversible destruction of microorganisms, delivering highly effective and consistent air bio-decontamination performance.
How It Works
PlasmaShield® operates through a multi-stage air decontamination process powered by industry-first Electron Beam irradiation. This advanced technology generates a stable plasma field that neutralizes airborne microorganisms and contaminants as air flows through the system — ensuring cleaner, safer indoor environments.

Mechanism of Action
Inside the Device Reactor
Electron Beam (E-Beam) Irradiation
PlasmaShield® generates high-energy electron beam emitters that bombard airborne microorganisms with high-speed electrons. These electrons penetrate microbial cell walls, causing irreversible damage that inactivates viruses and other pathogens within milliseconds.
Irreversible Electroporation
PlasmaShield® generates an intense electric field that induces irreversible electroporation — a process that ruptures microbial cell membranes, leading to the complete inactivation of microorganisms.
Particle Aggregation
As air passes through the PlasmaShield® reactor, ultrafine particles become electrically charged, causing them to bond into larger clusters. This aggregation process enables more efficient filtration and removal of particulate matter from the air.
Evidence of Destruction
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) imaging demonstrates the complete structural destruction of microorganisms after passing through the PlasmaShield® reactor. Both bacteria and viruses show irreversible membrane rupture and multiple breakages, confirming the system’s powerful bio-decontamination capability.
